Booking terms
The contract
Your booking is a contract between you and TODO: registered company name. It is confirmed when you receive our written confirmation, not when you submit the form.
Payment
Payment is taken online at the time of booking or shortly before arrival, depending on the rate you choose. Card details are handled by Stripe and never by this website.
Cancellation
We offer two rates on every stay:
- Flexible — free cancellation until a stated date before arrival, with nothing charged until shortly before that point.
- Non-refundable — a lower price, paid at the time of booking, with no refund if you cancel.
The exact dates that apply to your stay are shown before you pay and repeated in your confirmation.
Your right of withdrawal
Please note: the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to accommodation booked for a specific date. This follows the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (Chapter 6, Section 16), which mirrors Article 16(l) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive. Your cancellation rights are the ones set out above, and they are what protect you.
The house
Check-in is between 15:00 and 18:00 and check-out between 08:00 and 11:00. Please tell us your arrival time in advance. The maximum number of guests stated for each house may not be exceeded. Smoking indoors is not permitted. Parties and events are not permitted. Pets are welcome at no charge.
You are responsible for damage beyond ordinary wear.
If something goes wrong
Tell us as soon as you can, so we have a chance to put it right during your stay. If we cannot resolve a dispute between us, you may refer it to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi) or to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
Force majeure
Neither of us is liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control.
