On Takilakatu, in the middle of the resort — the shortest walk to the restaurants and the spa of any of the four, which matters more than it sounds in February.

Sixty-six square metres: a twin bedroom with two single beds, a double bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room. Sleeps five.

This is one of the two villas with air conditioning, which earns its keep in July when Finnish summers turn unexpectedly hot. There is a sauna of your own, a balcony, a kitchen with a dishwasher, coffee machine and fridge, a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi. Towels and linen are provided and parking is free on site.

The resort’s pools, saunas and hot tubs are open to guests, and the shore of Lake Saimaa is two minutes away on foot.

Check-in is from 15:00 with no cut-off time; check-out by 11:00.
